Do seniors need modeling experience?
Not at all. Most seniors I photograph have never been in front of a professional camera. I guide posing, expressions, and movement throughout the entire session.
How long is a senior session?
Session length depends on the package selected and typically ranges from 20–120 minutes. This allows time for outfit changes, locations, and a relaxed pace.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions are held at outdoor locations around Halifax and surrounding areas, or at an agreed-upon location that fits the senior’s style.
Outfit & Styling Questions
How many outfits should be brought?
Most seniors bring 1-3 outfits, depending on their package. Variety is encouraged — casual, dressy, and something that reflects personality.
What should be avoided in outfits?
- Neon colors
- Large logos or graphics

- Wrinkled clothing
Should hair and makeup be professionally done?
Professional hair and makeup is optional. Seniors should aim to look like themselves — just polished. Natural makeup photographs beautifully.

Can parents attend the session?
Absolutely. Parents are welcome to attend or step back — whatever helps the senior feel most comfortable.
What is expected from parents on session day?
Helping your senior arrive on time, prepared, and relaxed is the biggest help. Once the session begins, I take care of the rest.
Are parents involved in image selection?
Yes. Parents are encouraged to participate in image selection and product decisions, especially when purchasing prints or wall art.
Products & Images
Do packages include digital images?
Yes. All senior packages include a set number of high-resolution digital images with a print release.
Can we purchase additional images or prints?
Yes. Additional digitals, prints, wall art, and collections are available after the session.
How long will images be available?
Online galleries are typically available for 2–3 weeks after delivery.
After the Session
When will we receive our images?
Galleries are delivered within 2–3 weeks after the session.
Can images be used for graduation announcements?
Absolutely. Your print release allows use for announcements, yearbooks, and personal printing.
Weather & Rescheduling
What happens if the weather is bad?
If weather conditions are unsuitable, we’ll reschedule at no additional cost.
Can sessions be rescheduled?
Yes, with advance notice. Life happens — communication is key.
